Schlabig & Associates Breaks Ground on New Portage County Office

Kent, OH, Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, a leading certified public accounting firm offering strategic services for Ohio-based private businesses, has broken ground on a new office to serve clients in Portage County and surrounding areas.

The facility, located at 2275 State Route 59 in Brady Lake, more than doubles the size of the firm's existing Kent office. Schlabig & Associates also operates an office in downtown Akron.

"We've simply outgrown our existing Kent facility and have been looking for a location that would best serve the needs of our growing base of clients and our employees," said Thomas Hager, CPA, the firm's managing partner.

The 5,400-square-foot building is expected to be completed by December, according to Hager. Approximately 11 professionals work in the existing Kent location; the firm plans to increase this number following the transition into the new office.
