Supelak Appointed Senior Tax Manager By Schlabig & Associates, LTD

Akron, OH, Nov. 15, 2006…David M. Supelak, CPA, MT has been appointed senior tax manager by Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, a leading certified public accounting firm offering a broad range of strategic services for Ohio-based private businesses and individuals.

Supelak, who joined the firm in 2002, assists clients in identifying and addressing tax planning needs and provides specialized corporate tax and advisory services to closely held businesses in diverse industry groups. He also manages tax planning compliance and related research on behalf of Schlabig & Associates clients.

Supelak earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting and master’s degree in taxation from The University of Akron. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Akron Tax Club and serves as secretary and treasurer of the Tax and Estate Planning Council of Akron. He also is active on boards and councils of local organizations including the Greater Akron Chamber’s Government Affairs and Small Business Council.

He resides in Copley, Ohio, with his wife, Marcine, and children, Zachary and Luke.
