Schlabig & Associates, LTD Earns Highest 'Peer Review' Report

Akron, OH, Dec. 16, 2008…Schlabig & Associates, Ltd is pleased to announce that the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has awarded the firm its highest distinction for a successful peer review report, as administered by The Ohio Society of CPAs.

“This is an exciting time for our firm,” said Tom Hager, managing partner of Schlabig & Associates, Ltd. “We worked very hard to measure up to the profession’s high standards of quality. This report provides our clients with an even greater sense of our confidence, and the manner in which we deliver services to their business.”

The AICPA Peer Review Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by AICPA members in public practice. Peer review offers clients the assurance that their certified public accounting firm is committed to performing at the very highest level. The process is entirely voluntary.

The AICPA Peer Review, completed every three years, requires an independent review of the firm’s accounting and auditing practices, by licensed CPA’s who are selected from among the members of the AICPA.

Driven by the mission to “advise clients how to keep more of what they earn, with no surprises,” Schlabig & Associates, Ltd is a leading certified public accounting firm that offers strategic services for Ohio-based businesses and individuals.
