Sharon Sledzik To Participate In Local Tax Hotline
Akron, OH, Feb. 16, 2009…Sharon M. Sledzik, CPA, tax manager for Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, will answer calls regarding tax preparation along with other accountants next week as part of The Ohio Society of CPAs tax advice hotline, cosponsored by the Akron Beacon Journal. The session will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 16.
Sledzik will answer general questions about federal and Ohio income tax preparation and filing, including defining taxable income; identifying tax deductions; determining taxes on Social Security, pensions and inheritance; claiming dependents; and clarifying how recent tax law changes affect personal income tax filing.
Sledzik, who has been with the firm since 2006, provides tax support, research and tax planning for businesses, individuals, trusts and non-profit organizations.
