Les Smeach Earns Exclusive Financial Forensics Accreditation
Akron, OH, Feb. 17, 2009…Les Smeach, a partner at Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, recently earned an exclusive Certification in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Established in 2008 by the AICPA, the CFF credential is granted to qualified certified public accountants (CPAs) with considerable professional experience in financial forensics and who are listed as a member in good standing with the AICPA. CPAs who have earned the CFF Credential must be recertified every three years to maintain their credential.
Smeach, a certified public accountant who also is accredited in business valuation and is a certified valuation analyst, provides tax planning and consulting, management consulting, and accounting and auditing-related services to the area’s businesses and non-profit organizations. His CFF Credential will allow him to provide even further specialized forensic accounting services as it relates to bankruptcy and insolvency, computer forensics, economic damages, family law, fraud investigations, litigation support and stakeholder disputes and valuations.
He has served Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, since 1990 and practices out of both of the firm’s offices.
Smeach is a graduate of Kent State University. He lives in Rootstown with his wife, Susan.
