Dave Supelak Named President Of Akron Tax And Estate Planning Council

Akron, OH, May 28, 2009…Dave Supelak, Senior Tax Manager at Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, was recently named President of the Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council, the key professional organization of accounting, real estate and tax specialists in the Akron area.

Supelak, who is based in the Akron office of Schlabig & Associates, will be responsible for administering monthly organizational needs, overseeing officer duties and engaging outside professionals for frequent presentations to the council. His term expires May 2010.

At Schlabig & Associates, Supelak, CPA, Master of Taxation, provides extensive tax planning, specialized corporate tax and business advisory services, compliance and research, and representation for companies and individuals in actions before the Internal Revenue Service and other governmental agencies. He has been with the firm since 2002.

He is a member of several other organizations including the Greater Akron Chamber Small Business Council and Government Affairs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Ohio Society of CPAs, Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce, Akron Tax Club and Greater Akron Musical Association. He also serves on the board of the Copley-Fairlawn Schools Foundation.
