Schlabig Senior Tax Manager To Present Timely Tax Update Session This January

Akron, OH, Jan. 11, 2010...Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, senior tax manager Dave Supelak will present a short tech session regarding tax updates at the Tangier Restaurant in Akron at 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2010. Hors d’oeuvres will served at 5:30 p.m.

Supelak, who joined Schlabig in 2002, is a certified public accountant (CPA) and Master of Taxation. At the firm, he provides extensive tax planning, specialized corporate tax and business advisory services, compliance and research, and representation for companies and individuals in actions before the Internal Revenue Service and other governmental agencies.

He serves on several boards and councils in the region, including the Greater Akron Chamber Small Business Council and Government Affairs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Ohio Society of CPAs, Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce, Akron Tax Club and Greater Akron Musical Association. He also serves on the board of the Copley-Fairlawn Schools Foundation.

He is a graduate of The University of Akron, and resides in Copley.
