Schlabig Associate To Participate In Upcoming ‘Politcs & Taxes 2010’ Panel

Akron, OH, May. 7, 2010...Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, announced today that senior tax manager Dave Supelak will participate in a “Politics & Taxes 2010” panel session sponsored by the Edward Jones Investments branch office in Mogadore, Ohio, at the Hartville Kitchen, 1015 Edison St. NW, Hartville, Ohio, at 6 p.m. on May 10, 2010.

Supelak will join E. Spencer Muse, attorney at law, Mogadore, Ohio; and host and emcee Vince Rosnack, financial advisor at Edward Jones Investments, to discuss the state of economy, politics and how it relates to personal taxes and finance. The guest speaker for the event is Robert Crugnale, a regional representative for Eaton Vance Distributors, Inc. The program is free and open to the public.

At Schlabig, Supelak is a certified public accountant (CPA) and Master of Taxation (MT). At the firm, he provides extensive tax planning, specialized corporate tax and business advisory services, compliance and compliance and research, and representation for companies and individuals in actions before the Internal Revenue Service and other governmental agencies.

He serves on several boards and councils in the region, including the Greater Akron Chamber Small Business Council and Government Affairs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Ohio Society of CPAs, Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce, Akron Tax Club and Greater Akron Musical Association. He also serves on the board of the Copley-Fairlawn Schools Foundation.
